Co-op/Intern Program

Do you want real-world experience that will make you stand out from the crowd after graduation? You've found the right place! Yokohama offers exciting programs for college students — take a look:

Yokohama’s co-op / intern program engages college students for paid work sessions that involve assignments that are closely related to a student's area of study.

Interns are defined as students who are working part time around a school schedule.

Co-ops are defined as students who are working full time during the summer, spring or fall term or 30+ hours / week around school schedule.

Work sessions are structured, supervised, professional, and relate to the student's area of study. These experiences allow students to sharpen their skills, develop a network of contacts, assess their strengths, and test classroom theories in real world settings.

Students participating in Yokohama’s co-op / intern program become more marketable when seeking full-time employment after graduation whether with Yokohama or another company. While a full-time position cannot be guaranteed after graduation, the work experiences gained through cooperative work will be invaluable.
